Tomorrow being ANZAC day, I’d thought I’d post a few recording that I have made/edited. Note Reveille is played at the dawn service, Rouse at other times.

My arch nemesis:

For a long time, my mower was hard to start. It would kick back, generally misbehave until you actually got it started.
It improved when I replaced the air filter, spark plug and oil, but it would still kick back.
A few weeks ago, I hit a rock/stump/something, and smoke started to be emitted out of the carburettor. Not a good sign on the best of days. Today I went shopping for a few tools (15/16″ socket, 6″ gear puller, and a few other bits and bobs), to take it apart. First, off with the cover:

There doesn’t seem to be too much damage on the crankshaft or the flywheel keyway:

I just need to find a shop that sells them.
Yes, I have finnaly got this thing back up and running…
All I have to do now is get WordPress 2.0 installed.
It took a while for him to get back. Faye bought him home, but nobody was here to look after him, so she took him home. And promptly lost him in her room. Once she found him, and bought him back here, he went straight to Roggie. (Roggie was REALLY lonely).
I’ve finnaly taken Kitty to the vet to get neutered. It will be interesting, because I fly to Brissy to see Sarah this afternoon. This means getting Faye organised enough to pick up Kitty when he is feeling a little less groggy from the anesetic.
Finnaly, (and after alot of bleeting and moaning), He’s gone. Hopefully this will mean less damage to the house from him and Simon fighting.
I still have to get Ansell to fix the flyscreens, but he is moving at his usuall molassas-like speed.
Well, it’s been a long time between drinks for the Adelaide Crows! After loosing seven showdowns in a row we finally beat the Port Power by thirty two points. It also marks their second victory this season (now two wins and five losses 🙁 )
I went for a walk today from my brother’s flat in Spring Hill, down into Brisbane. Right up to the other end of the Queen St Mall. On the way back I dropped into Woollies to pick up some groceries, I decided to pick up some beer as well. Much to my exasperation, the price of Coopers Pale Ale was $15.99 (normally about $9.50 in Adelaide).
Oh well, the price you pay for quality. 🙂
